 The Solar System!

Hello Again! Today I am going to tell you 1 or 2 facts about each planet in the solar system. The Sun is at the heart of the solar system and the system is all the planets that orbit around it.

 Mercury is the planet nearest to the sun. . If you stood on mercury's surface then the sun would look 3 times bigger than it does on Earth.

Venus is the second planet from the sun. Earth and Venus are actually sister planets because they actually look similar in a way. 

Earth is the 4th planet from the sun and we live on it. Our planet is the only one that we know to have life on out of all the others because it is the right temperature.

Mars is the 5th planet from the sun. It has been visited on the 18th Feb 2021 by 3 rovers all at once because us and mars are orbiting the sun at different speeds and only around this time are we closest to it.

Jupiter is the largest planer in our solar system. It is a gas planet and it has some very faint rings.

Saturn is also known as the ringed planet and I have done a post about it already so you can find more info there.

Uranus is was a gas planet but now that scientists have studied it more they have reclassified it as an ice giant because of it's freezing temperatures.

Neptune is the outer most planet in the solar system. It only looks blue because of the methane in it's atmosphere. 

FUN FACT!
On Neptune it rains diamonds!
