The big bang!

The big bang!

The big bang happened around 13.8 billion years ago. It flung all the energy and matter outwards in all directions! Since then, Space has been stretching further and further away from it's starting point- the time and place of the big bang.

Hello! I thought I'd just give you a pre view of the big bang before we get started. This bang was so fascinating and today I am going to tell you more about it.

Before, the universe was inside a tiny bubble SO much smaller than this full stop. In nearly no time at all, the universe had expanded to the size of a tennis ball. It carried on expanding with the temperature of 10 trillion degrees Celsius.

In the following 380, 000 years, It was still to hot for light to shine and this part of history is sometimes known as the dark ages. This darkness was occurred by light photons trapped inside the ultra hot fog of the Universe.

Finally, When the universe was 380,000 years and above, the temperature dropped  by 3000 degrees Celsius and then things in space started to function.

300-500 million years later, clumps of gas collapsed and squeezed together because of gravity, and the very first stars and galaxies were born.

I hope you enjoyed learning about the big bang with me today,

                  See you soon,

                                       Naomi
