The sun!

 The sun!

Hello! today I am going to tell you about the sun but I just want to say something first. The sun is a star and stars are born, they live, they die just like us. Tomorrow I will post on the death of the sun.

The sun has been shining for 4.6 billion years! Like all stars, it is a hot ball of densely squeezed hydrogen and helium gases. It shines with the energy of 100 billion tons of dynamite exploding every second. It is 99.86 per cent of all the mas in our solar system.

We can't see the inner layers of the sun and all of the information about that comes from the observations on the outside. The sun has 6 layers the core, the radiative zone, the convective zone, the photosphere, the chromosphere and the corona, which is at the temperature of 2 million Celsius!

Coronal loops are 2500-100,000km from the surface of the sun and they are anchored to the suns photosphere. They are magnetic loops filled with hot gas.

Bye!
